Cabins & campervans

Coronavirus update: please read about the changes we are making to the Roost as a result of the coronavirus here. These changes superseed our pre-coronavirus set up as detailed below.

Cabins

Dotted among the trees our four bespoke cabins have views out over the valley. They’re simply designed, warm and comfy, providing plenty of living space for two adults and two children as well as secure storage for your gear, including bikes.

The cabins have big (4ft) bunk beds (bedding is provided) so plenty of sleeping space for two single adults or a couple (plus up to two children).

Each cabin has a ‘porch’ area where you can hang up bikes, stash your gear and muddy boots keeping the living space clean and clear.

There’s also a table with four stools, a heater, lighting and power/usb sockets.

The cabins are a short hop from the kitchen and shower rooms. Umbrellas are provided! Cabins Gwynfa and Noddfa are step free, there are a few steps up to Bodlawen and Del Fryn.

Campervan spaces

We currently have space for two campervans, max 6m. Vans only please, no motorhomes due to space restrictions.

Each space has an electric hook up and guests have full use of the shared facilities. No space for awnings but there’s plenty of covered and outdoor seating around the site.

Dog friendly

Well behaved dogs are very welcome to come and stay. We just ask that owners clean up after their pooches (there’s a poop bin just outside the gates to the Roost on the Taff Trail) and be considerate to other guests.
