Exclusive hire of The Roost

With a group booking and exclusive hire of The Roost, you can make the most of our ‘little gem’ of a cabin site and have it all to yourselves. Kids and grown ups alike will love it.

A person cooks over an open fire in front of a cozy cabin, surrounded by nature and the warmth of the flames.Campfires, BBQs and all the facilities you’ll need for a fun few days away with family and friends. Our secure, gated site ensures complete privacy while keeping adventure within reach.

BikePark Wales, the Taff Trail (route 8), Zip World Tower and the Brecon Beacons National Park are all on our doorstep so there are plenty of opportunities for some outdoor adventuring too.

With our group booking option you’ll have exclusive use of all the Roost facilities including the five comfy cabins, three shower rooms and our well-equipped kitchens. There’s also space for a couple of small campervans too. We’ll provide the bedding and responsibly sourced firewood is available to purchase too (the first bag’s on us). Dogs welcome.

The Roost is a Visit Wales Quality Assured Glamping Site and has been awarded the Cyclists and Walkers welcome awards.

Group booking overview

Capacity - adult only groups are limited to a maximum of 14

The cabins:

  • 1 ensuite cabin with kitchenette - sleeps 2 adults + 1 child
  • 4 'original' cabins - sleep 2 adults and 2 children
  • All cabins have 4ft (small double) bunk beds and bedding included for groups
  • Additional campbeds in the original cabins and Bodlawen (4 in total)

Facilities:

  • 4 individual shower rooms
  • 3 kitchen areas (1+2 open up into a big kitchen), 3 can be used as a bar/service area
  • Secure gated site with plenty of parking
  • Fire pit and bbqs

Well behaved dogs welcome.
Space for two small campervans.

"Booked whole site for family get-together. Mixed group, great location for those biking at BPW with great facilities for bike cleaning and safe secure storage. Plenty of hot water also. Walkers also catered for and would recommend the 4 waterfalls walk, and the pre uni ladies loved their Cardiff trip. 2 dogs also loved their stay, and pottered around enjoying the space.

Pod set up great, catered for 15 of us with ease, kitchens opened to adjoin so a great social space to eat and cook. Even used the fire pit for marshmallows, despite the torrential rain day before. Clean, warm, secure site enjoyed by our whole group. Super contact from Kath as well. We will be back."
