Roost reviews

"Great stay here, absolutely ideally located for BikePark Wales, Brecon Beacons and the Taff Trail. The hot showers are amazing, beds very comfy and the kitchen is great (can’t wait to return in the summer and have some bbq’s outside). Views are great and this place is ideal for mountain bikers / outdoor pursuits people. Thoroughly recommend :)"

"Awesome little spot close to BikePark Wales. Thoughtfully put together accommodation with everything needed for a few days stay. Great spot to rest and recoup."

"Well set-up for a cosy modern camping style trip in the Beacons very close to Bike Park Wales. Well thought out facilities with an environmentally focused foundation which gave me a real feel of getting back to nature. Great for couples and groups and the communal kitchen area felt like a hub for meeting other guests and the beginning / end of the day. Very secure as the venue is within a solid electric gated enclosure."

"Great hub / base camp for exploring local trails and Brecon hills either on foot or by bike. Good to have a space to secure your bike and a comfy crash pad is welcome after a day in the saddle as are the showers. Great back to basics approach and ‘sharing space’ in the kitchen gives an opportunity to catch up and swap (tall) trail stories. Definitely go back."

Roost rules

Basically, please be considerate to other guests and the Roost’s neighbours

Keep the noise right down between 22:00 and 07:30. We’re a small cosy site and noise carries. If you’re leaving early, please do so quietly.

Leave all communal areas as you would want to find them. Wipe up, dispose of rubbish/recycling and put things away.

If you wish to smoke, please do so in the designated area of the car park where you’ll find an ashtray disguised as a bucket.

On your bike? Please dismount your bike in the car park and walk it through the site. Also give your bike a wash before storing it in your cabin.
