Roost reviews

"Everything at the roost is well thought out. Cabins are cosy and beds very comfy. Everything, from kitchen area to showers, is sparkling clean. If you’re riding bike park wales, the place has a hose to jet wash your bike, a stand to maintain it and a drying room. Really cool vibe and stunning views."

"The communal kitchen area was well equipped and spacious. The bathrooms clean, warm and bright. Nice extra touches such as a drying room, bike wash, hand towels in the bathrooms and welsh cakes on arrival! Perfectly located for bike park wales. We took our dog who enjoyed walks along the cycle lane."

"Perfect hub for bikers and walkers! We stopped at Roost recently for a trip to BikeParkWales and couldn't have asked for more. The camping kitchen was fully stocked and took all the stress out of the trip. The washrooms were spotless and well thought out for bikers, the drying room a godsend. Having your bikes hung up inside your cabin gives proper peace of mind while you sleep in the comfy good size beds."

"We used the stay as a stop over to climb Pen y Fan. However, will definitely be bringing the bikes next time. The site has an eco friendly vibe with recycled rainwater used for flushing the loo. We found the self check in very straightforward and convenient. Overall the stay was exactly what we wanted and can't wait for the second visit!"

Roost rules

Please be considerate to other guests and our neighbours…

No smoking - no smoking or vaping in or around the cabins or shared areas. Please only smoke/vape in the car park where there is an ashtray/bucket.

Quiet please - keep the noise right down between 21:30 and 07:30. We’re a small site and noise carries. If you’re leaving early, please do so quietly.

Dog owners - please pick up after your pooch. There are poo bags in the kitchen and a poop bin just outside the Roost gates on the Taff Trail (please don't put it in our rubbish bins).

On your bike? - please dismount your bike in the car park and walk it through to your cabin. Please give it a wash before hanging it up too.
