What to pack
We’ve got most things covered but there are a few essentials you’ll need to bring
What we provide
All cabins have the following:
- A big 4ft wide (small double) bunk bed (2 beds) with mattress protectors and base sheets provided (bedding and towels can be provided as an extra, see booking extras)
- Shelves and hooks
- Power/USB sockets
- Lighting
- Heater
- Antibac spray and cloths
- Info pack
- 3-in-1 rechargeable torch, automatic night light and emergency power cut light
- First aid kit.
Arosfa, our ensuite cabin, also has:
- Ensuite - electric shower, sink, loo, loo roll, handwash
- Kitchenette - sink, little fridge, microwave, kettle, hob, crockery, cutlery, pans, utensils, a small supply of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and sunflower oil
- A lockable bike store unit at the rear of the cabin (W 855mm × L 1900mm × H 1205mm)
- Table and chairs/stools.
Our original cabins (Bodlawen, Del Fryn, Gwynfa and Noddfa) also have:
- In-cabin equipment storage porch for bikes, rucksacks, climbing gear etc
- Table with four stools.
- Bodlawen does not have a kitchen; it has a kettle, crockery, cutlery etc and access to an outdoor sink area for drinking water, washing up etc.
The kitchens have:
- Sink with washing up liquid, handwash, brush, scrubbie and tea towels
- Full size fridge with ice box (Arosfa has a small fridge)
- Two ring electric hob (Arosfa has a single induction hob)
- Microwave, kettle and toaster (no toaster in Arosfa)
- Pots, pans and utensils
- BBQ tools
- Crockery, cups, glasses and cutlery
- Cafetiere
- Refuse/recycling bins
- Cleaning equipment
- Antibac spray/kitchen roll
- A small supply of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and sunflower oil.
In each of the private, key code lockable shower rooms:
- A lovely hot shower
- Shampoo/shower gel
- Washbasin with handwash
- Hand towels and bath mat
- Loo and loo roll
- Shaver point
- Mirror
- Hooks and a bench
- Heater
- Antibac spray and cleaning cloths.
Plus, there’s also:
- Car parking (one space per cabin; if you need more please ask)
- Twin electric vehicle/EV charging point (pre-registration required so please let us know if you wish to use it)
- A bike wash with Muc-off and brush
- A Turvec bike maintenance stand with tools
- Outdoor sink
- Each cabin/kitchen has its own outdoor seating area
- Guest store and honesty shop - here you'll find spare bin bags, dog poop bags, games etc plus some basics/treats to buy
- Recycling/refuse area
- Various BBQs
- A wood fired pizza oven
- Drying room and washing lines with pegs
- Fire bowl (firewood can be provided as an extra, see booking extras)
- Free WiFi that reaches most areas of the site but can't be guaranteed.
Plus, there’s also:
- Car parking (one space per cabin; if you need more please ask)
- Twin electric vehicle/EV charging point
- A bike wash/maintenance area
- Each cabin/kitchen has its own outdoor seating area

- Free wifi that reaches most areas of the site but can't be guaranteed.
You’ll need to bring:
- Duvets/sleeping bags and pillows if not added as an extra
- We do not provide bedding for the single campbeds in the original cabins so you'll need to bring a pillow and sleeping bag
- Towels if not added as an extra
- Food and drink
- Charger
- Charcoal for the BBQ
- Fire wood for the fire bowl/pizza oven (available to purchase)
- Flip flops for mooching over to the shower rooms in.
Booking extras
You have the option to bring your own bedding, towels etc or pay a small amount and we will provide. The following are therefore available as optional extras:
- £3/bed - double duvet & 2 x pillows with cotton covers per bed (the cabins have a small double bunk bed so if using both beds, you'll need to add two). This small charge goes towards laundry costs. Base sheets/mattress protectors provided as standard.
- £2/bath towel hire.
- £8/bag - a mixed bag of hard and soft wood logs for use in the fire pit, comes with fire lighters and kindling.
- EV charging - we now have a Project EV twin charging point. To use this, please select this extra and we will send you a link via email inviting you to use the charger. Charges apply. Ideal for overnight charging.
