We’re open!


The Welsh Government gave tourism businesses the green light to reopen from 11 July. We have now reopened with a few changes in place for the safety of guests and staff which are detailed below.  As things continue to change, we may need to tweak things further.

Changes at the Roost

If you're a bigger household or extended household and can share a kitchen/shower room, contact us if you require additional cabins.

Please note that we have made some changes to our terms and conditions.

TWO GROUP MAXIMUM: We are limiting the number of groups staying at the Roost to a maximum of two at any one time. Each group will have their own private shower room and kitchen. Groups will have the option of one or more cabins/campervan spaces, subject to availability, but they must be from the same household or 'extended household'* as they will need to share the shower room and kitchen.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE: Exclusive hire of the Roost will still be available for larger household or 'extended household'* groups. Please get in touch for more information.

CAMPERVAN BOOKINGS: Campervan spaces are only available to book two days in advance and are dependent on the number of groups already booked in. Please contact us to enquire about campervan bookings.

THE KITCHEN: The kitchen has been split into two separate kitchens, each with everything you'll need for a few days away. We will clean and sanitise prior to arrival but will not clean the kitchen again during your stay. Before you leave, for the safety of our team, please clean up, sanitise and dispose of any rubbish in the main bins.

THE SHOWER ROOMS: Shower rooms will be cleaned and sanitised before arrival. We will not clean them again during your stay.

BEDDING: We will not be providing duvets, pillows or headboard cushions for the time being. Mattress protectors and fitted sheets will be provided so guests need to bring their own pillows and duvets/sleeping bags. For the safety of our team, please bag up the sheets in the bag provided at the end of your stay.

CLEANING: We will clean and sanitise all areas prior to check-in, paying particular attention to touch points.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: Guests should maintain social distancing of 2m from other groups. We will stay away as much as possible but are about if needed.

CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS: If any member of your group has shown symptoms within 14 days of your arrival date, they (and any other of your group's members they've been in contact with) must stay home. If anyone in your party develops coronavirus symptoms during your stay, please notify us immediately.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:

  • We will continue to offer contactless self check-in with key coded entry in/out of the site, key coded entry to the shower rooms plus key safes/keys to the cabins.
  • Surface sanitiser and kitchen roll will be provided in the cabins, shower rooms and the kitchen; please use as required.
  • Antibacterial handwash is provided at all sinks and hand sanitiser at the entrance to the site. Please continue to wash your hands regularly.
  • There are a number of picnic tables and bbqs dotted about the site for guests to use, please sanitise before use and clean when done.
  • All non-essential items have been removed including board games and information packs (links will be sent prior to arrival).

The coronavirus has had and will continue to have a significant impact on our business and we have therefore made some changes to our terms and conditions to help us stay open.
